Senior FPGA Hardware Engineer (Life Sciences)

THE COMPANY

Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Life Sciences industry with a strong presence regionally. They are looking for a Senior FPGA Hardware Engineer as part of their expansion plans in Singapore, reporting to the R&D Manager.

THE ROLE

The Senior FPGA Hardware Engineer is responsible for:

• Lead verification strategy, planning, and execution for FPGA-based systems in life sciences applications.
• Develop and maintain testbenches, simulation environments, and verification methodologies (UVM/SystemVerilog).
• Perform coverage analysis, regression testing, and debugging to validate FPGA designs.
• Collaborate with design engineers and system architects to translate requirements into effective verification plans.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in FPGA verification, with strong expertise in SystemVerilog/UVM.
• Prior experience in FPGA design and RTL implementation, even if not the primary responsibility.
• Proven track record in regulated industries such as medical devices or life sciences.
