We are looking for a Senior FP&A - Sales for our Magnequench business Unit.

Position Description:

The Senior FP&A - Salesis responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of sales operations within the Neo Magnequench business unit, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, pricing, profitability analysis, and compliance with financial policies. This role acts as a key business partner to the Sales and Marketing teams, providing financial insights to drive decision-making and optimize sales and profit performance. The position holder will be based in Singapore and reporting to Finance controller based in China. This is an early-mid level role for professionals with a solid foundation in finance. It offers broad exposure and opportunity to work with experienced leaders. It is suited for someone who is ready to deepen their impact by partnering with commercial teams and providing insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Control & Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) across the business unit
  • Monitor sales performance, pricing strategies, and rebates to assess financial impact
  • Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly sales financial reports and management reports (revenues, margins, KPIs)
  • Review sales contracts to ensure proper revenue and cost recognition
  • Lead the sales forecasting and budgeting process in collaboration with sales and finance teams

Business Partnering & Commercial Support:

  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing team, and Operations teams to evaluate pricing strategies, promotions, and customer profitability
  • Provide financial insights to support deal structuring, contract negotiations, and business development initiatives
  • Track sales incentives, commissions, and bonuses to ensure alignment with financial targets

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Identify and implement process improvements in sales finance operations (billing, collections, revenue tracking etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Support internal and external audits related to sales transactions

Systems & Data Management:

  • Utilize SAP and Power BI tools to analyze sales data
  • Maintain accurate sales dashboards and KPIs for management reporting

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field CPA/CMA/MBA preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years in finance/controlling roles, preferably in sales finance, commercial finance, or FP&A
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in manufacturing is a plus
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills experience with SAP, excellent in Power BI
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Mindset: Business acumen with a commercial mindset, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment, collaborative team player with a proactive approach
  • Language: Fluent and proficient in both English and Mandarin
