We are partnering with a global retail client on a Senior FP&A Controller mandate. In this role, you will report to the Head of Controlling and work closely with regional leadership and business units, supporting financial planning, reporting, and performance management across the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Group consolidation and entity reporting, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close processes.
- Manage and monitor Group cash flow, balance sheet, and cost allocation methodologies to maintain a healthy financial position.
- Partner with budget owners to analyze sales, margins, and profitability, providing actionable insights and collaborating on performance improvement plans.
- Develop and maintain APAC financial dashboards, forecasts, and management presentations to provide visibility into financial performance.
- Evaluate business processes, KPIs, and trends to drive efficiencies and support data-driven decision-making.
- Support change management initiatives and provide financial guidance to the Executive Committee.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis and controlling within the Retail or FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams) experience with SAP FICO/BW or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with finance and non-finance leaders.
- Solid business and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze data and provide reliable insights and recommendations.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and analytical, with the ability to take initiative and make independent decisions.
