THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Semiconductor industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer as part of their expansion plans in Singapore, reporting to the R&D Engineering Manager.
THE ROLE
The Senior Firmware Engineer is responsible for:
- Partner Design, implement, and optimize embedded firmware in C/C++ for power supply solutions.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with AC-DC and DC-DC converters.
- Develop control algorithms for voltage regulation, current limiting, and fault protection.
- Conduct debugging, validation, and performance tuning of firmware on target hardware.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded firmware development using C/C++ for SMPS or power supplies.
- Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, DSPs, and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with digital control techniques, PWM, and feedback systems.
