Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Asia Region business team, playing a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and governance across our operations in Asia. This position will work closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership

As the first Finance & Accounting employee at the Region Headquarters in Singapore, you will establish strong partnerships with the business, bring financial insights and governance.

  • Manage the regional budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidating inputs from multiple countries and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis and present findings to senior management.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, led by Corporate, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financialreporting while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Financial Planning

You will lead financial planning for the Asia region, including guiding monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and variance analyses across the P&L (Orders, Sales, Gross Margin, Operational Costs, and Profit) and Balance Sheet (Inventory, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cashflow, Assets and Liabilities). This is in partnership with Corporate Finance & Accounting.

Financial Analysis

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, and long-term strategic planning initiatives
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations that drive profitability and growth

Governance, Stewardship, Internal Controls

You will partner with Corporate Finance, Accounting and Legaltolead the Asia Region, alongside the Regional Leadership Team, in a culture of strong internal controls, policies and processes that safeguard the company's assets and grow profits.

Region Collaboration & Functional Expertise

You will collaborate with teams across markets including China, Hong Kong, and Singapore, to standardize reporting processes and drive operational efficiencies. This role also requires partnering with multiple functions including Sales, Services, Supply Chain, HR,IT, and Legal, on regional initiatives and special projects.


Requirements:

  • Experience:7+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably with exposure to multi-country operations in Asia.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required, with CMA, CPA or CA designation highly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling/Excel, BI analytics, and Powerpoint, along with experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Epicor, Workday Adaptive, or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin as this role requires frequent communication with mandarin speaking stakeholders.
  • Experience working across different time zones andcultures is important, as is the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a regional or global company with matrix reporting structures is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with local GAAP requirements across Asian markets, knowledge of transfer pricing and intercompany transactions, is essential.
  • Experience implementing process improvements or system enhancements will strengthen your application, showing continuous improvement is important.
