Job Description

Our client, a leading global manufacturing MNC, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial performance and business strategy across the SEA region. You will act as a key commercial partner to the SEA leadership team, bridging the gap between finance, sales, and corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering & Commercial Controlling

  • Sales & Growth: Collaborate with regional management to monitor sales drivers, track project pipelines, optimize pricing initiatives, and drive sales efficiency.
  • Strategy & Investment: Lead strategic growth projects, conduct robust financial evaluations, track benefits, and manage external consultants on transformation initiatives.
  • Working Capital: Monitor key productivity indicators including inventory turns and DSO to maximize cash flow.

Corporate Reporting & Consolidation

  • Management Reporting: Consolidate SEA financials and deliver accurate, timely analytics to guide management decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between SEA, Regional, and Corporate FICO teams to meet all global reporting requirements.
  • KPI Tracking: Provide comprehensive, consolidated financial and KPI reviews across business units and countries.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Analysis

  • Planning Cycle: Lead the annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes for the SEA region.
  • Market Analysis: Partner with local teams to assess market outlooks and define business assumptions for financial projections.
  • Budget Governance: Design and implement a monthly budget-monitoring framework, delivering actionable insights and variance analysis.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education & Qualifications: Degree in Accounting/Finance with a recognized professional accounting qualification.
  • Background: Big 4 accounting firm training is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Controlling.
  • Industry: Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Skillset: Exceptional commercial acumen with a proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders to influence business decisions.
