- Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and oversee statutory financial audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with tax filing requirements and local regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting and controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and drive financial performance.
- Monitor changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance with new requirements.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on month-end closing, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
