As part of our ongoing growth and strengthening of governance, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our Finance team.
About the Role
The Senior Finance Manager will oversee the financial consolidation and reporting of all TKWSS divisions, centres, and programmes. This role ensures accurate, timely, and transparent financial information to support decision-making by management, the Board, and regulatory stakeholders.
You will work closely with centre finance officers, auditors, and management to ensure compliance with accounting standards, government funding requirements, and internal control policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and annual consolidation of financial results across TKWSS's homes, centres, and programmes.
- Prepare consolidated management and financial reports for management, the Board, and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS) and Charities Accounting Standard (CAS).
- Review and reconcile inter-centre and inter-programme transactions.
- Coordinate and support audit processes and liaise with external auditors and regulator.
- Develop, implement, and review financial policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
- Collaborate with service heads and programme teams to ensure effective budgeting, monitoring, and reporting of funds.
- Support funding submissions, variance analyses, and grants utilisation reporting to relevant authorities.
- Participate in financial systems enhancement and process improvements to improve reporting accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in financial consolidation, reporting, or audit.
- Prior experience in the non-profit or social service sector.
- Sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS) and Charities Accounting Standard (CAS), funding frameworks, and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Hands-on and independent, yet collaborative across multiple centres and teams.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with commitment to TKWSS's mission and values.
