Location: East, Singapore (Near MRT)
Salary: $10,000 - $16,000 (Commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports, cash flow statements, and year-enclosing activities.
- Manage Singapore statutory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, GST regulations, tax submissions, and corporate filing obligations.
- Supervise daily finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, treasury functions, and reconciliation processes while strengthening internal controls and governance practices.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, serving as the main liaison with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities by providing meaningful financial analysis and recommendations to management.
- Monitor cash management, banking matters, working capital, and foreign currency exposure to support business operations effectively.
- Review and enhance finance workflows, policies, and reporting procedures to improve operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Partner closely with management and cross-functional teams to support commercial decisions, business expansion plans, and operational improvements.
- Lead and guide the finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and staff development.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Certified accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA Singapore, or equivalent preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including managerial exposure within Singapore operations.
- Strong understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards, GST, corporate tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience handling full set of accounts, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
- Familiar with finance processes relating to intercompany transactions, regional reporting, or holding company structures will be advantageous.
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
