Senior Finance Manager - Singapore & Australia - (US MNC - Global Professional Services Firm)

Our client is a leading global professional services firm seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee its financial and operational activities across Singapore and Australia.

Working closely with regional and global finance leadership, Country Managers and other senior stakeholders, this role will provide strong financial oversight, business performance visibility and operational support across both markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and financial performance analysis across Singapore and Australia.
  • Present P&L, balance sheet, projections and business insights to senior regional and global stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Country Managers and office leadership, supporting commercial and strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements and local regulations.
  • Coordinate with external tax, legal and accounting advisers on reporting, compliance and contractual matters.
  • Oversee operational activities including payroll coordination, billing, accounts receivable, insurance and retirement plans.
  • Support office leasing, location assessments and negotiations with landlords.
  • Manage one direct report and outsourced partners, ensuring effective workflow, delivery and performance management.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal and other global teams, including colleagues based in New York.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience within finance, accounting or a related function.
  • Strong experience reporting to and partnering with senior management within a multinational organization.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting, tax, financial controls and financial reporting; familiarity with U.S. GAAP is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and commercial capabilities, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proven ability to lead people, manage competing priorities and operate effectively within a complex global environment.
