Job Summary
Manage daily financial operations and accounting processes for the company and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with regulations. Support trade and project financial activities, coordinate audits, and improve financial policies to drive accurate reporting and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial accounting processes and monthly/annual closing for the company and project entities to deliver accurate financial reports
- Oversee financial management of China-based subsidiaries to ensure compliance with PRC accounting and tax regulations aligned with group policies
- Establish and maintain financial accounting systems for new energy power stations and trading businesses to control costs, revenue, and cash flow
- Administer accounts receivable and payable, fund arrangements, and bank account management to maintain liquidity and financial accuracy
- Support contract settlement, reconciliation, and fund flow management for bulk commodities trading to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
- Collaborate with new energy power station operations to conduct project financial analysis, monitor budget execution, and track operational data for informed decision-making
- Assist in managing multi-currency settlements and cross-border fund transactions to facilitate international financial operations
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, company secretaries, and banks to ensure compliance with Singapore regulations and support annual audits and tax declarations
- Improve internal financial policies and processes to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to manage Chinese-language financial systems and work-related correspondence
- Apply independent judgment and management skills to deliver responsible and detail-oriented financial oversight
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate financial information clearly to support business objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 5 years of relevant financial work experience, preferably in new energy, infrastructure, or bulk trading sectors
- Familiarity with Singapore company finance, tax, and audit processes
- Experience in project-based accounting, renewable energy, or commodity trading
- Knowledge of multi-currency transactions, cross-border payments, and trade financing
- Experience working in multinational corporations and familiarity with PRC accounting standards and tax laws
