Overview:
Our client, an SGX-listed company, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee group-level financial reporting and consolidation activities. This role is suited for a hands-on finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise and experience managing full sets of accounts across multiple entities within a listed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting activities for the group and its subsidiaries.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Prepare group consolidation reports in compliance with accounting standards and SGX listing requirements.
- Review and ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
- Support management in financial planning, analysis, and reporting for decision-making.
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and internal control strengthening initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA).
- Minimum 8-10 years of accounting experience, including group consolidation and financial reporting.
- Prior experience in a Singapore-listed (SGX) company is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and consolidation systems.
