Job Description

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced finance professional for our client in an established real estate platforml to oversee its Singapore portfolio. This role will take ownership of the finance function locally, with scope expected to grow alongside new asset acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial performance tracking across the portfolio
  • Provide analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and local statutory requirements
  • Manage relationships with external parties including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
  • Monitor asset-level financial performance, including revenue, operating costs, and capital expenditure
  • Oversee cash flow planning, including collections, payments, and liquidity management
  • Support financial aspects of tenant-related matters such as billing, receipts, and reconciliations
  • Handle tax-related matters including corporate tax, GST, and other applicable obligations
  • Partner with internal teams to support transactions, including due diligence and financial analysis
  • Lead finance setup and integration for new assets, including processes, reporting structures, and controls
  • Manage and develop a small finance team, ensuring a strong control environment and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate financial data into actionable insights
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification is advantageous
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership capacity, preferably within a real estate or asset-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Familiarity with Singapore regulatory and tax requirements
  • Experience managing teams and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
