We seek a detail-oriented and commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to strengthen our finance function and support continued growth.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of the company, the Senior Finance Manager will play a hands-on role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, supporting investment analysis, and ensuring robust reporting and compliance across the portfolio. This role is ideal for a finance professional with at least 2 years of working experience who is looking to deepen their expertise in real estate finance within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Deliver insightful management accounts, variance analysis, and financial commentary to support decision-making by the Director and shareholder.
- Maintain and enhance financial dashboards and reporting tools to track portfolio performance across all commercial property assets.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast cycles.
- Develop detailed financial models and scenario analyses to support investment decisions, asset acquisitions, and portfolio reviews.
- Monitor budget adherence and proactively flag variances with recommended corrective actions.
Investment & Asset Finance Support
- Support the management with financial due diligence, return modelling, and deal structuring for commercial property transactions.
- Track asset-level financial performance including rental income, net operating income (NOI), occupancy, and yield metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports, and board presentations.
Compliance & Controls
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel on annual audits, GST filings, and corporate tax matters.
- Maintain robust internal controls and support the implementation of finance policies and procedures.
Treasury & Banking
- Manage day-to-day cash flow, bank reconciliations, and liquidity monitoring process.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions on credit facilities, loan drawdowns, and treasury operations.
- Support cross-border fund flows and currency management for investments in other markets and across the APAC region.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Supervise and mentor junior finance and accounting staff, providing guidance on technical matters and professional development.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team, and legal teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Liaise with Indonesian counterparts and local partners proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
- 2-3 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably within real estate, property investment, or financial services.
Experience & Skills
- Solid experience in financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Exposure to real estate finance, property investment is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with APAC markets, particularly Indonesia knowledge of Indonesian regulatory requirements (OJK, tax frameworks) is highly desirable.
- Strong financial modelling skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment.
