Job Description:
- Oversee finance and accounting operations, including monthly/annual closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis.
- Prepare management reports, P&L analysis, and budget-versus-actual reviews to support business performance and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, corporate governance, and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretaries, government agencies, and Japan HQ on audits, reporting, and compliance matters.
- Standardize and improve accounting workflows, invoicing procedures, and internal control processes.
- Support financial and operational management of the central kitchen and food manufacturing business.
- Monitor operational KPIs, production efficiency, profitability, and prepare AR, invoicing, and operational reports.
- Coordinate with OEM partners, suppliers, vendors, and F&B stakeholders on operational and financial matters.
- Act as the key liaison between Singapore office and Japan HQ to ensure smooth communication and operational alignment.
- Provide translation/interpretation support and assist in corporate planning, business transformation projects, and ad-hoc management initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Business proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) is required to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking management stakeholders.
- Practical experience in finance and accounting operations, including monthly and annual closing processes, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
- Experience in budget management, P&L analysis, gross profit analysis, and management reporting is preferred.
- Prior experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B), food manufacturing, or supplier industry will be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with Singapore's regulatory environment and Japanese corporate reporting structures is preferred.
- Hands-on experience liaising with external auditors, vendors, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to support process improvement initiatives, operational controls, and finance-related workflow standardization.
