Senior Finance Manager

We are the pulse of Asian football. Our mission is to spearhead the growth of the world's most popular sport across the continent. We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our Finance Department.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will blend traditional financial expertise with a forward-thinking approach, utilizing AI tools and NetSuite to modernize management reporting. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management, and financial governance across the organization. The role will report to the Deputy Director of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in partnership with departmental stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and provide recommendations to support business objectives.
• Develop and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure effective liquidity management.

Financial & Management Reporting

• Oversee financial and management reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Prepare and enhance management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Utilize NetSuite and AI-driven tools to improve reporting efficiency and business insights.

Governance & Controls

• Review and maintain financial policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead or participate in finance-related projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial control.
• Experience within a multinational or global organization is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in the sports industry, or a strong interest in sports administration, would be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or data analytics tools within a finance environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
• Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented person.
