Job Description

Senior Finance Executive

Salary: $4,500 per month
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Bishan
Working Hours: 9am to 6pm or 8am to 5pm

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Executive to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions across multiple entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end closing, intercompany accounting, and supporting finance system improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting

  • Handle the full set of accounts for multiple entities.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accounting records in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Intercompany & Financial Reporting

  • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and related accounting entries.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and management information.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of related party balances.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Support finance system implementation and data migration projects.
  • Assist with process improvements, internal controls, and system enhancement initiatives.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other external service providers.
  • Support finance-related projects and other ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience handling multiple entities will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, bank reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
