Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Regional Finance Executive to support our finance operations across Southeast Asia & East Asia. This role is ideal for someone with approximately 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within an SME environment with regional exposure and at least 1-2 years of audit experience. The candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, cross-border coordination, and maintaining financial compliance across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for regional entities.
- Support regional budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis.
- Monitor regional financial performance and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in accordance with group accounting policies and deadlines.
- Liaise with local finance teams and consultants to ensure compliance with local regulations, tax filings, and audit requirements.
- Support regional cash flow and treasury management activities.
- Support and manage intercompany transactions, balances, and settlement proposal.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and consultants as needed.
- Review and reconcile regional audited and tax reports
- Participate in finance-related projects and system enhancements across the region.
- Maintain financial data integrity and accuracy in accounting systems (specifically SAP S/4HANA)
- Ensure and maintain the accuracy of regional corporate and bank information
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably with regional exposure and at least 1-2 years of audit experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP and SAP S/4HANA systems
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS or/and local GAAP), transfer pricing, and regional taxes would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional and cross-border teams.
