Senior Finance Executive

Our client, a well-established financial trading platform with a dynamic regional presence, is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join its Singapore team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of core accounting and finance operations within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day finance function and play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and timely month-end close. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a high-performance business with exposure to trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-spectrum accounting and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports with a high level of accuracy.

• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management processes.

• Assist with management reporting, variance analysis, and financial commentary.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other professional advisers as required.

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Support ad hoc finance projects and process improvements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 to 4 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.

• Prior experience in trading, brokerage, commodities, financial services, or a related fast-paced commercial environment is preferred.

• Strong understanding of full-set accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.

• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive working style.

• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
