Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day cash flow and oversee the company's financial transactions.
  • Handle and supervise the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain, update, and analyse financial data to assess the company's financial position and performance.
  • Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, as well as annual budgets.
  • Prepare income statements, balance sheets, GST submissions, and other statutory filings in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and support year-end tax filings, statutory audits, and financial reviews.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements, including IRAS and ACRA, and stay updated on regulatory changes.
  • Maintain and manage the company's accounting system (e.g. QuickBooks) and recommend process or system improvements where appropriate.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of financial records.
  • Support ad-hoc accounting and finance-related duties as required by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3-7 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a full set of accounts independently.
  • Experience in project-based or services-oriented environments is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in accounting software (mandatory).
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore GST and statutory requirements.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

Language & Eligibility

  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese is required to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients, vendors, and stakeholders, and to handle related financial documentation.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
