Senior Finance Executive

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join Advanced CAE Pte Ltd, a leading system integrator delivering reliable and custom process analyser solutions. In this full-time role, you will oversee the company's financial accounting and reporting functions, based at our modern offices in Bukit Batok Central, West Region.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for full Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions.

• Issue invoices and follow up on payments.

• Resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes promptly while maintaining amicable customer relationships through professional communication.

• Maintain PJC/Orderbook and support contract management including monitoring contract revenue recognition, cost allocation, WIP and progress billings.

• Generate general journal and prepare monthly management reports for review

• Prepare and reconcile audit schedule, inter-company report and supporting documents

• Update cashbook and assist in cashflow management.

• Prepare and submit GST filing and periodic government statistical report.

• Coordinate periodic stock take exercise.

• Serve as backup for Accounts Payable functions

• Assist in OA system and accounting software implementations or upgrades.

• Proactive in monitoring internal control and enhance process flows

• Liaise with various departments including Sales, Operations and Procurement to support day-to-day processes and improve interdepartmental efficiency.

• Assist in budgeting exercise

• Liaison with audit, tax, corporate secretary and bank, if needed.

• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent

• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field

• Familiar with IFRS, SFRS, SSA and the Companies Act

• Adaptable, positive attitude and able to work independently with business acumen

• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel (Pivot tables), Word.

• Some experience in SAGE, trade financing will be an advantage
