Job Description

Key accountabilities
  • Ensure timely & accurate AP closing according to month end closing schedule
  • Review vendor invoice and/or employee reimbursement. Ensure accurate coding, adequate documentation & approval as well as alignment across entities
  • Review payment proposal in ensuring accurate payment information, payment mode, and within credit term
  • Attend to enquiries on payment matters. Active liaison with user and vendor to ensure timely resolve pricing and quantity variances
  • Ensure that Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt (GRIR) balance is within the target amount
  • Ensure timely reconciliation between vendor statement of account and SAP, and prompt resolution of reconciling items
  • Regular reconciliation of AP between SAP and Business Intelligent (BI)
  • Ensure good controls are in place. Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and LOA (limits of approval)
  • Active participation in process improvement projects in areas of user requirement gathering and user acceptance test
  • System Administrator for i-lifesaver system. Ensure overseas representatives are paid timely and accurately in accordance with contract
  • Monitor cash flow closely and ensure no overdraft interest incurred
  • Vendor master maintenance such as new vendor creation. To review and block inactive and/or duplicate vendor yearly
  • Assist in quarterly Related Party Transaction / Interested Party Transaction Reporting
  • Functional lead for PO and/or non-PO team
  • Monitor staff performance closely to ensure KPIs are met. Provide on-the-job training for new hire and junior staff
  • Support annual financial audit and internal audit for the organisation
  • any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
  • At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Accounts Payable function with supervisory role.
  • Proficient in MS office Excel and SAP experience
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player mind set to collaborate with team members and functional departments.
  • Possess initiative and able to organise, prioritise and multi-tasking.
  • Proactive and positive working attitude and committed to deadline.
  • Strong problem identification, solving and analytical skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Able to start work immediately or on short notice.
