As part of a dynamic Business Finance team, you will be responsible for management reporting, overseeing the annual Group-wide budgeting exercise, and evaluating strategic initiatives across the Group.
The role combines financial planning and analysis, expense governance, reporting, and business partnering responsibilities with opportunities to drive automation, advanced analytics, and finance transformation initiatives to strengthen expense management effectiveness across the Group.
- Support in the evaluation of the Group-wide initiatives by assessing programme design, budget adequacy, proposed metrics, business deliverables, cost reasonableness, and offering guidance to the Local Entities.
- Support governance, policy compliance, financial control activities, and cost allocation reviews to ensure consistency, transparency, and effective expense management across the Group.
- Conduct expense reviews and analysis using data analytics to identify spending trends, provide actionable insights, monitor financial performance, and support management decision-making.
- Support the preparation and consolidation of budget templates for the annual Group-wide exercise, incorporating automation and scalable design to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
- Support the enhancement of reporting, analytical, and governance processes through automation, process optimisation, and digitalisation initiatives, while maintaining robust controls, transparency, and audit readiness.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to improve data accessibility, operational efficiency, and management decision-making.
- Support the Team Lead in delivering strategic projects and finance transformation initiatives by leveraging advanced analytics, AI-enabled tools, and emerging technologies to enhance expense insights, forecasting accuracy, and business outcomes.
- Possess a Degree or Diploma in Finance or a related discipline, with a strong foundation in finance.
- Have at least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the insurance industry and in finance operations or expense management roles.
- Experience with Power BI, Python, automation or AI-enabled tools would be advantageous.
- Have experience or exposure to automation and digital solutions, with an interest in applying AI-driven capabilities to enhance finance processes.
- Exhibit a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to initiate innovation, automation, and process optimisation while maintaining strong governance and controls.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence.
- Are driven, proactive, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail while maintaining a holistic understanding of key business priorities.
