Key Responsibilities
. Maintain accurate financial accounts in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs)
. Assist in month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of management reports, financial statements, cash flow analysis, budgets, and variance analysis
. Support preparation of year-end financial statements and audit schedules for external audits and regulatory submissions
. Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliations
. Assist in monitoring cash flow, petty cash, and preparation of monthly cashflow forecasts
. Support budgeting process, including tracking and variance analysis
. Prepare and submit monthly GST reports in compliance with local regulations
. Assist in handling Letters of Credit (L/C) and Trust Receipt (TR) matters where applicable
. Support implementation of financial policies, internal controls, and compliance procedures
. Liaise with external auditors, accounting service providers, and internal stakeholders
. Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior / Management deems fit.
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
. Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
. Experience and proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software (infotech)
. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
. Good communication and interpersonal skills
. Experience in construction industry is an advantage
