We are working with a leading global semiconductor equipment company to hire a Product Support Engineer focused on PECVD / ALD technologies.
This role sits at the intersection of advanced troubleshooting, customer interaction, and product engineering, supporting some of the most advanced wafer fabrication environments globally.
The Role
- Act as a technical expert on product lines, handling Type 1/2 escalations on complex tool issues
- Drive root cause analysis, including data-driven investigation and solution definition
- Present findings and solutions to customers, and gain buy-in on corrective actions
- Interface with global product / factory teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
- Support new product introduction phases (Alpha / Beta) alongside product groups
- Leverage and contribute to global knowledge management systems
- Mentor local engineers and lead escalations across cross-functional teams
- Build strong customer relationships during escalations, upgrades, and evaluations
Ideal Profile
- Experience in semiconductor equipment (etch, deposition, or similar)
- Strong exposure to troubleshooting and complex issue resolution
- Background in PECVD, ALD, or related thin film processes preferred
- Ability to perform structured root cause analysis (data-driven)
- Comfortable interacting with customers and presenting technical solutions
- Experience working with cross-functional/global teams
