Job Description

CubePay is a Singapore‑headquartered digital payment technology company supporting merchants across the island. Since 2014, we have focused on providing reliable payment operations and practical, on‑site support in real merchant environments.

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Field Services Technician with hands‑on payment terminal field experience to support merchant operations while providing guidance and support to technicians in the field.

This role is suited for someone experienced, steady, and hands‑on - comfortable working on‑site and helping the team maintain consistent service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on‑site support to merchants, including installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of payment terminals
  • Diagnose terminal, connectivity, and configuration issues and apply appropriate solutions
  • Plan and carry out daily field work according to assigned schedules and priorities
  • Prepare service reports and maintain required documentation
  • Follow established field practices, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures
  • Work with internal technical and operations teams to resolve issues smoothly
  • Escalate complex cases with relevant background information when required
  • Communicate clearly with merchants and explain technical matters in a practical manner
  • Guide and support technicians to maintain consistent work quality
  • Follow up on open issues to ensure proper resolution
  • Support on‑the‑job coaching and skills development within the field services team

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands‑on field experience in the payment terminal / POS industry
  • Practical experience supporting payment terminals at merchant locations
  • Familiarity with Ingenico and/or PAX terminals is an advantage
  • Good troubleshooting skills with electronic equipment and basic IT / networking
  • Able to guide or support other technicians when required
  • Able to work independently and cooperate within a team environment
  • Comfortable with basic reporting and documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Clear spoken and written English
  • Awareness of workplace safety practices
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or public holidays when required
  • Able to carry out field duties in outdoor conditions
  • Class 3 driving license is an advantage

Compensation

  • Compensation will be assessed based on relevant experience, skills, and level of responsibility, in line with company guidelines and applicable regulations
