about the job
- Responsible for the commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of marine generators.
- Provide after-sales technical support, site recovery and maintenance responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
- Provide the installation, commissioning and on-site training to support customers in accordance to the scope of the project.
- Generate service reports to customers in a systematic manner.
- Investigate and handle all customers complaints related to product failures.
- Investigate root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
- Review and assist in determining the extent of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributors.
- Maintain close working relationships with our key customers to ensure the follow through until the issue is resolved.
- Develop service training material, ensure all technical and training documents are up-to-date and organized.
- Standby support and 24/7 emergency call for customer support.
- Provide specific training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skill sets
job requirement
- Diploma/degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- This position requires fair amount of traveling in the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Region
- Possess strong customer service orientation, enthusiasm for power generation products, electrical and control system
- Prior electrical and control experience with various control system (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization system will be advantageous
- Willing to work in the West
