Responsibilities
- Support and maintain mechanical and utility systems including chilled water, process cooling water, HVAC, compressed dry air, vacuum, exhaust, scrubbers, and other production-supporting mechanical facilities
- Plan, execute, and enhance preventive maintenance programs to maximize system reliability and minimize unplanned downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and utility systems promptly to restore operations efficiently
- Monitor and analyze system performance, reliability, and capacity utilization prepare basic performance reports
- Identify, recommend, and implement system improvements and cost-optimization projects
- Develop and adhere to operating and maintenance procedures ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient system operation
- Monitor utility consumption such as electricity, water, and compressed air collaborate with users to optimize usage and reduce waste
- Manage spare parts and consumables inventory to ensure availability for daily operations and emergency repairs
- Maintain accurate equipment histories, maintenance records, P&IDs, drawings, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for servicing, repairs, and system upgrades
- Provide technical support to production and other departments on mechanical and utility system issues
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills applied in cross-functional team settings
- Self-motivated with a strong interest in facility systems and continuous improvement
- Strong sense of responsibility
