Duties & Responsibilities
The Senior Facilities Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating an exceptional experience for all staff, contractors, guests, etc. This operational role primarily supports a large tech company office environment while providing specialized facilities operations support for a small manufacturing environment. The SFC must effectively communicate information regarding building facilities and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety through self-performance or vendor management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the broad spectrum of facilities and building management, focusing mainly on soft services, and waste management.
- Support specialized operations within a small manufacturing context, ensuring facilities standards are met alongside corporate office requirements.
- Act as the trusted right hand to upper facilities management for all onsite activities and routine inspections.
- Support building shutdown activities and provide on-call/after-hours support as required.
- Proactively manage vendor relationships and ensure all work is completed within KPI or policy guidelines.
- Take ownership of customer issues, responding promptly to inquiries and closing out requests via email or in person.
