JOB SCOPE
- Lead Facade system design, including concept design, detailed design, and technical coordination for projects in Singapore and regional markets.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary design interfaces, including architectural, structural, and M&E disciplines, ensuring design completeness and buildability.
- Develop and manage design schedules, ensuring timely delivery of design outputs aligned with tender and project execution milestones.
- Conduct technical communication and presentations with clients, consultants, and main contractors, providing clear design explanations and technical solutions.
- Review design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements, internal standards, and applicable regulations.
- Support tender and pre-contract stages by contributing technical proposals, façade system solutions, and value engineering inputs.
- Provide technical support during construction stages, including addressing site queries and proposing design improvements where necessary.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or above in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 3–5 years of experience in curtain wall or façade design, preferably with exposure to design consultancies, engineering firms, or façade contractors.
- Strong understanding of façade systems, including unitized, stick, and structural glazing systems, as well as fabrication and installation methodologies.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple disciplines and manage technical interfaces in complex building projects.
- Familiarity with relevant façade design codes and industry standards; exposure to Singapore or international project standards is an advantage.
- With the ability to conduct technical presentations, respond to technical queries, and engage with stakeholders confidently.
- Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage technical risks independently within assigned scope.
- Experience in international projects, multinational teams, or overseas assignments will be considered an advantage.
- Fluent in Mandarin to communicate seamlessly with direct reports in China, and liaise and interact Chinese speaking clients and customers.
