Summary of Job:
Make-A-Wish Singapore grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Through the transformative power of a wish, we bring hope, strength and joy to children and their families during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for programme delivery, medical outreach and volunteer management. You will work closely with children and their families, medical professionals, volunteers and partners to plan and fulfil meaningful wish experiences. Your role will involve managing wishes from referral through to fulfilment, ensuring that each wish is thoughtfully designed and executed with care, creativity and attention to detail. This includes coordinating logistics, engaging volunteers, working with hospitals on medical suitability,and liaising with partners who help bring wishes to life.
This is a highly interactive role that requires both empathy and strong organisational skills.as you will be working closely and independently with our beneficiaries, volunteers, partners and various stakeholders.
1. Key Responsibility Areas
o Managing allocated wish budgets and related expenses in
accordance with organisational policies
o Proactively identifying and resolving operational challenges to
ensure smooth wish delivery
o Exercising sound judgment when handling sensitive family
conversations and complex wish scenarios
o Sourcing and liaising with vendors and wish partners to secure
in-kind support, preferential rates or discounts where
appropriate
o Maintaining accurate case documentation and administrative
systems to track beneficiaries and monitor service quality
o Ensuring a positive and dignified experience for beneficiaries
and families throughout the wish journey
o Providing clear direction and expectations for each case
o Advising on sensitive family interactions and boundary
management
o Ensuring volunteers are equipped to deliver a positive and
consistent wish experience

Other Details - Official Working hours:
9:00am - 6:00pm
Candidate may be required to work on weekends for events that fall outside weekdays. Off-in-lieu will be provided.
