Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources including booking systems, cargo flow modules, management reporting and customer databases
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for various trade teams to make informed decisions
Assist with the implementation of eCommerce projects and optimization of corporate systems, data and tools to enhance department productivity
Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in shipping data to optimize cargo selections, routing management, and inventory management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ISD, finance, logistics and operations to implement data-driven solutions and process improvements
Steer improvement mindset and adoption of new technologies & processes
Present findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Maritime, Data Science, Statistics or equivalent
Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, leveraging data analysis to identify inefficiencies, anticipate challenges, and propose innovative solutions to improve shipping processes
Adaptable and resilient in the face of evolving technologies, market trends, and business challenges faced by the dynamic container shipping industry
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau etc for data manipulation and visualization
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights and actionable strategies
