Senior Executive, Strategic Marketing & Communications
What You Will Do
1. Digital Content & Social Media
- Lead and execute content strategies across social media, website, EDMs, and digital platforms to support fundraising, outreach, and programme visibility
- Create impactful and engaging content including videos, reels, graphics, photography, and copywriting for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram and LinkedIn
- Craft compelling humanitarian and impact-driven storytelling featuring beneficiaries, volunteers, partners, and community efforts
- Plan, shoot, edit, and optimise short-form digital content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, and AI-assisted platforms
- Adapt content formats and messaging for different audiences and digital platforms
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform features, and best practices to improve engagement and reach
- Manage community-driven content involving volunteers, influencers, ambassadors, and partners
- Monitor social media trends, content performance, and audience engagement
- Maintain RLAF's digital gallery and content archive across programmes and campaigns
2. Strategic Marketing & Campaigns
- Support and execute integrated marketing campaigns for fundraising appeals, humanitarian responses, signature programmes, and outreach initiatives
- Coordinate campaign communications from planning to post-campaign reporting
- Drive awareness, donations, volunteer sign-ups, and public engagement through digital campaigns and paid media platforms
- Work closely with internal teams, partners, influencers, and vendors to ensure smooth campaign execution and aligned messaging
- Support campaign reporting, analytics, and content optimisation
- Maintain RLAF's digital gallery and content archive, ensuring proper documentation across programmes and campaigns
- Monitor content performance and audience behaviour to improve engagement and identify high-performing formats
3. Branding, Creative & Marketing Materials
- Ensure consistency of RLAF's brand identity, tone, and visual standards across all touchpoints
- Design and produce marketing collaterals including social media assets, EDMs, banners, posters, brochures, donor kits, event materials, and presentation decks
- Support event branding, signage, merchandise, and campaign visuals for on-ground visibility
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders for timely production and delivery of creative assets
- Support the development and maintenance of brand templates, branding kits, and communication materials
4. Media Relations & Public Communications
- Support media engagement, public communications, and storytelling efforts to position RLAF as a credible humanitarian organisation
- Assist in drafting media materials including press releases, donor updates, impact reports, and communication briefs
- Coordinate media coverage, interviews, and communications logistics for campaigns, programmes, and events
- Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and digital feedback, escalating reputational risks or misinformation when necessary
- Support timely, accurate, and transparent communications during humanitarian crises and sensitive situations
- Support management of RLAF's website, ensuring content relevance and accuracy
Other Responsibilities
- Marketing admin matters such as sorting out artworks, files, photos and videos
- Liaise with vendors for printing materials
- Support RLAF events/projects e.g. Documenting events with photos and videos, set-up events
Preferred qualification/experience:
- Basic design skills such as Canva, Capcut, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, AI content/video tools
- Basic photography/videography skills
- Basic understanding of analytics, content performance tracking, and campaign reporting
- Diploma or Degree with min. 2 years experience (those with more experience will be offered a higher position)
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, Google applications
Who Are You
- You are a creative, proactive and driven communications professional with experience in digital content, social media, branding, marketing, or strategic communications
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt in dynamic environments
- Creative, proactive, and passionate about digital storytelling and community engagement
- Experienced in communications, social media, digital marketing, branding, or content creation
