About the Role

The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering invites applications for the position of Senior Executive, Scholarships and Convocation.

In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support for student scholarships, awards, bursaries, and convocation-related activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of student recognition programmes and maintain accurate student records and reporting.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful student initiatives while supporting the School's mission to recognize and celebrate student achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate student scholarships, awards, and bursaries, including nominations, verification, and documentation.

  • Support the planning and execution of convocation-related activities and student recognition events.

  • Maintain and manage student records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with university procedures.

  • Source and prepare reports related to student achievements, scholarships, and awards.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as academic staff and administrative teams to facilitate student-related processes.

  • Provide administrative support for school outreach, engagement activities, and student-related events when required.

Requirements:

  • A recognised Bachelor's degree with relevant administrative or operational experience.

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
