Job Description

Nanyang Technological University's National Centre for Research in Digital Trust (DTC) is a Trust Technology Research Centre to execute a national program to help put Singapore into a strong trust hub. The key objective is to support efforts to create a trusted digital environment for its people and businesses by providing businesses and consumers with greater assurance and confidence as they digitalize. Over the next few years, DTC is expected to bring together industry players, research institutions, and institutes of higher learning to drive research in technologies that support digital trust principles such as safety, transparency, and accountability.

This role provides administrative support for research & innovation grant calls management to the Centre's office in planning, organizing and coordinating a wide spectrum of activities associated with the running of the Research Centre.

Job Description:

  • Offer comprehensive administration for all research and innovation grant accounts, overseeing the entire process from initial application to final project completion, while adhering to grant guidelines and terms and conditions in accordance with the funding agencies and institute's regulations. This ensures the seamless execution of funded projects at every stage.

  • Collaborate closely with academic staff, management, grant calls awardees and University offices to address and manage administrative matters pertaining to grants.

  • Manage post-award research grant calls submissions of project amendment/deviation request, project progress and final reports.

  • Liaison with stakeholders and external parties.

  • Assist in organizing and facilitating grant calls panel meetings, presentations, recording minutes and notes for committees and/or meetings and providing secretarial and logistical support.

  • Manage and maintain grant calls databases, records and documents.

  • Additional administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a diploma from recognised university.

  • Able to communicate professionally and work with faculty and staff across various administrative units.

  • Possess excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong numerical skills and meticulous.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Able to maintain high standards of confidentiality of sensitive materials.

  • Able to learn fast and multi-task.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.

  • Familiar with grant management and/or project management will be an advantage.

  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and willingness to learn or use new IT software and applications as and when required.
