The Role is responsible for Own Brands New Products pre-launch process and, and is expected to:
- Manage the evaluation of new products against product briefs, ensuring accurate assessment of product attributes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure Product evaluation (Prescreen and SEC) activities are tracked according to project timelines.
- Lead consumer questionnaire design with cross-functional teams, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), liaise with external agencies for execution and results analysis.
- Conduct comparative (ANOVA) analysis of sensory attributes and evaluation results to assess product performance.
- Assist and support in evaluation method development, verification and validation for various product categories.
- Manage the new supplier pre-qualification process and complete required assessment and documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or its equivalent.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in R&D and/or product development, including the commercialization of new products.
- Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems such as HACCP and/or ISO 22000 are distinct advantages.
- Proficient in Google Suite applications and data management.
- Familiarity with SFA/HSA regulatory and Halal requirements is an advantage.
