Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Programme Administration

To ensure accurate student records

  • To maintain accurate student records by tracking enrollment, attendance, grades, course completion & student movements.

  • To coordinate repeat modules and course returns, prepare scoresheets and score calculations for graduating cohorts and support BOE endorsement.

  • To collaborate with internal stakeholders to update student listings and ensure data accuracy throughout the student lifecycle.

Student support

To provide positive experiences to students during their course tenure

  • To support students throughout their course tenure by onboarding new intakes, assisting with NIEC systems and handling daily enquiries.

  • To provide guidance on course matters such as progression, deferment, withdrawal, and repeat modules.

  • To keep students informed of key updates, results releases, and end-of-course matters, while supporting their well-being through regular check-ins and newsletters.

  • To engage and support at-risk students in collaboration with the course team.

Course Team support

To support effective collaboration and positive student learning experiences.

  • To provide administrative support to the course team (handling enquiries).

  • To update the course team on student movements (deferments, withdrawals, approved absences).

  • To coordinate marks submission and moderation in system.

  • To manage course documentation including SPA forms and sample assignments.

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree qualification

  • At least 1 year in administrative and coordination roles

  • At least 1 year relevant work experience in the Education environment (preferred)

  • IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel & Outlook)

  • Positive-minded individual who is meticulous and organised

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is an advantage due to interactions with students enrolled in Chinese courses.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams

  • Customer Service Oriented

  • Ability to react positively to situations that arise with appropriate follow-up actions that are in line with NIEC's mission, vision and values

Note: All new hires will be offered a two-year contract in the first instance. Contract renewal and emplacement on permanent appointment will be subject to continuous good performance.
