Who We Need
The Nursing Informatics Executive supports healthcare practices by assisting nurses and physicians in onboarding into information systems, managing the implementation of IT systems, and providing post-implementation support. He/She serves as the bridge between healthcare and technology.
- Design training to nursing and physicians on the proper use of electronic medical record system.
- Liaise between the clinical staff and IT technical staff to translate clinical needs into system requirement.
- Create effective strategies and practices for incorporation into systems to improve workflows and clinical outcomes.
- Assist in the evaluation of clinical information systems to assess suitability in meeting clinical and operational needs.
- Support new initiatives and champion nursing and physician to implement changes.
- Participate in contribution of health records to National Electronic Health Record (NEHR).
How to Succeed
- Post basic qualification or Advanced Diploma in Nursing.
- Minimum 3 years as Nurse in acute hospital setting.
- IT savvy and good analytical skills.
- Fast learner, able to pick up new IT jargons and technology quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and independent.
