Job Summary
The role is responsible for the end-to-end processing of new business transactions which includes new application creation, correspondence letter preparation, receipts and policy contract issuance and to complete tasks as assigned by immediate manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality / prompt service to customer or business partner within agreed service standards.
- Ensure application form and other related documents submitted are in accordance to the Company's requirements and captured in the system with full accuracy.
- Work closely with different departments to support the effective processing of the new business submission.
- Perform KYC/AML and Due Diligence Review on new business submission adhering to Compliance's requirement.
- Assist and provide well documented case management notes in accordance to company's policies and regulatory requirements.
- Review policy ownership based on structure for new business case in accordance with company's guidelines.
- Prepare and co-ordinate the issuance of new business processing letters such as offer letters, First Day Cash Value letter, policy contract, closing letters and other correspondences.
- Handle medical reimbursement and requisition of medical report upon receiving request.
- Provide coaching and guidance to new hire on the systems, processes and procedures.
- Identify and co-ordinate the implementation of process improvements.
- Handle special projects and other related assignments as delegated.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree holder
- At least 5 years solid insurance processing experience preferably in the High Net Worth Insurance Sector
- Familiar with insurance policies, term and Universal life & Indexed Universal Life in particular
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Words, PowerPoint
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Have good organization skills and attention to details.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skill
- Good interpersonal skill and be a team player
- Able to work independently in a dynamic environment and work under pressure
