We are seeking a highly effective Senior Executive to join our Marketing & Communications Team in our department dedicated to employment and employability! In this role, you will support NTUC's sub-department in strategic communications and digital content management functions. This role is responsible for supporting media relations and overseeing website content governance to ensure consistent, accurate and timely representation of our programmes and institutional positioning. The incumbent plays a key role in strengthening our reputation as the institution operating Singapore's 27 National Career Centres, supporting job matching and employability efforts. The role requires strong writing ability, media coordination experience and hands-on proficiency in website CMS management.

Key Responsibilities

Communications & Media Engagement

  • Support development and execution of communications plans aligned to the organisational priorities.
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, speeches, talking points and briefing notes.
  • Coordinate media interviews, site visits and publicity efforts.
  • Maintain and update media contact lists and media tracking reports.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare analysis reports with key insights and recommendations.
  • Support crisis and issues response by preparing holding statements and coordination materials.
  • Work closely with PR agencies to ensure timely delivery of press materials and accurate messaging.
  • Translate programme statistics, research findings and case studies into media-ready content.

Website CMS & Digital Content

  • Manage and maintain corporate website using CMS platforms.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and timeliness of website content across programmes, campaigns and announcements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to update content, landing pages and campaign microsites.
  • Review content for clarity, SEO optimisation, compliance and brand alignment before publication.
  • Monitor website analytics and provide regular performance insights.
  • Maintain content calendar for digital publishing across website and selected channels.
  • Implement best practices in UX writing and information architecture to improve user journey and engagement.

Integrated Communications Support

  • Partner with Brand and Marketing teams to amplify campaigns through earned media and digital storytelling.
  • Support production of marketing materials to ensure consistency in corporate messaging.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand, data protection and communications governance standards.
  • Assist in reporting KPIs for media performance and digital engagement.

Planning & Governance

  • Support development of annual communications workplans and reporting frameworks.
  • Ensure documentation of processes, approvals and publication workflows for audit readiness.
  • Stay updated on media trends, CMS technologies and digital communications practices.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, media relations or digital content management.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting press materials and coordinating media engagement.
  • Strong working knowledge of website CMS platforms such as WordPress, Sitecore or similar systems.
  • Experience managing website content updates, landing pages and SEO best practices.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable interpreting data and translating statistics into accessible narratives.
  • Familiar with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience working in government, public sector or regulated environments preferred.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple timelines concurrently.

Working Location: Jurong East, Devan Nair Institute

Designation and salary will be commensurate with experience.
