About the role

With an expanding portfolio in South East Asia and the Middle East, we are looking for a commercially sharp and resourceful professional to support the charge in delivering high-value projects through Project Financing, M&A, and structured investment models. This position will sit within the BD & Investment Management team and reports to the VP of M&A and Project Finance (GRS).

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modelling:

Assist in building and updating financial models for:

  • Project evaluations (e.g., power, utilities, infrastructure, low-carbon solutions)
  • M&A transactions (DCF, accretion/dilution, IRR)
  • Integrating inputs from legal, technical, tax, and market workstreams into financial forecasts
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis under supervision
  • Performing debt sizing, returns analysis (IRR, DSCR, LLCR, equity waterfall), and valuation metrics (NPV, EV/EBITDA, payback)
  • Ensure models are structured and transparent

Transaction Support & Documentation:

  • Support the day-to-day process coordination including advisor coordination, Q&A log, and internal approval documentation
  • Support on deal documentation (e.g. NBOs, BOs, term sheets, facility agreements, etc.)
  • Work closely with internal business units including corporate finance, legal, risk, operations, and strategy to deliver the project
  • Monitor gas and power price trends, capacity factors, demand forecasts, and regulatory changes
  • Support commercial decisions with structured research and sensitivity analysis

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years in infrastructure project finance / advisory / M&A / BD or other roles (with strong modelling experience)
  • Exposure to power or energy infrastructure is a plus
  • Solid foundation in financial statements and corporate finance conceptsProficient in Excel; experience with advanced financial modelling preferred
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, team-player, growth mindset, resourceful, strong communicator, self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines
