Job Description

Position Overview

The Impact Innovation Team exists to build the organisation's capacity to prove, improve, and scale its impact. Working as a strategic partner to senior leadership and service units, the team embeds rigour into how the organisation designs, delivers, measures, and learns from its work.

The Senior Executive, Impact Innovation is a core delivery role within the team. The role takes independent ownership of work across programme design and evaluation, data, research, implementation, and communications, contributing directly to the organisation's evidence-informed agenda. It is a role for someone who executes reliably, manages their own workstreams, and engages confidently with internal stakeholders and service units.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Design, monitor, and evaluate programmes, developing theories of change, logic models, monitoring frameworks, and evaluation plans that enable the organisation to measure and improve its impact.

2. Design and execute data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualisation, producing insights and reports that support decision-making across the organisation.

3. Design and conduct research and inquiry activities, including literature reviews, qualitative and quantitative data collection, and synthesis of findings into actionable recommendations.

4. Independently manage projects from scoping through to delivery, planning workstreams, tracking progress, and ensuring outputs are completed on time and to standard.

5. Execute stakeholder engagement across service units, building working relationships, communicating findings clearly, and supporting alignment around recommendations.

6. Execute the structured introduction of new tools, approaches, and practices, contributing to implementation planning and adoption monitoring.

7. Produce reports, presentations, and knowledge-sharing outputs that translate the team's work into accessible communications for internal and external audiences.

8. Other Duties.

8.1. Fulfill any additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Executive Director.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

1. Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Research, Data, or related field.

2. Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience, highly motivated candidates with strong academic grounding will be considered.

Capabilities

1. Working knowledge of programme design and evaluation including monitoring and evaluation frameworks.

2. Data analysis and reporting capability with proficiency in relevant data tools.

3. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods including research design and synthesis of findings.

4. Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver workstreams independently.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
