Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized and experienced HR professional to join our team as a Senior Executive, Human Resources. This role partners closely with our Retail and Distribution Center operations, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with frontline stakeholders, and is passionate about delivering operational HR excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1 HR Business Partnering Retail team & Distribution Center team

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for Retail team and Distribution Center team, providing day-to-day HR advisory and support on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and engagement matters.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders to understand manpower needs and operational challenges.
  • Support change management, process improvements, and initiatives that strengthen employee experience and operational efficiency.

2 End-to-End HR Operations

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, HR documentation, confirmation, transfers, and off-boarding.
  • Coordinate with Payroll on salary changes, attendance matters, overtime, allowances and other employee benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements (e.g. employment legislation, work passes, safety guidelines, etc.).
  • Track HR KPIs such as turnover, absenteeism and hiring progress for operational insights.

3 Talent Acquisition for Frontline Hiring

  • Partner closely with the Retail Operations team and Distribution Center Operations team in the recruitment process for Retail and Distribution Center roles, including job postings, screening, interviews and selection.
  • Participate in interviews to provide HR insights and ensure candidate suitability from a competency, culture and compliance perspective.
  • Support the hiring decision through joint evaluation and consensus after all interview rounds.
  • Coordinate mass recruitment activities during peak seasons, events and new store launches to ensure timely manpower fulfillment.

4 Performance, Training & Engagement

  • Support the performance review process by coordinating timelines, communicating requirements, guiding managers on performance matters and tracking development plans.
  • Assist in organizing training programs for operational teams, including nominations, coordination, attendance tracking and follow-up where needed.
  • Contribute to employee engagement activities, recognition efforts and internal communication to foster a positive workplace culture.

5 HR Systems, Data & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate HRIS records, personnel files and documentation.
  • Perform periodic reviews and audits of employee information, training logs and compliance documents to ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management as required.

6 HR Projects & Ad Hoc Duties

  • Participate in HR initiatives and project work such as audits, policy reviews, process improvements, system enhancements and employee experience projects.
  • Support HR and Operations in activities such as mass recruitment exercises, new store openings and organizational changes.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by management and commensurate with the level of this post, while fostering a positive work environment and strong team spirit.

Our Dream Candidates

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably with strong exposure to Retail workforce or high-volume frontline operations.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end HR operations and HR practices in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Experience handling employee relations and advising operational leaders/managers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively at all levels.
  • High attention to detail, strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace or MS Office and familiar with HRIS platforms.
  • Demonstrates confidentiality, professionalism, resilience and a positive can-do mindset.
  • Able to work independently, team player and proactive
