RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the FP&A function in delivering timely, accurate, and insightful financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role partners with business units to drive financial discipline, enhance decision-making, and support strategic initiatives aligned with the company's growth and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Work closely with business units (e.g., underwriting, claims, distribution) to develop robust financial projections
• Perform variance analysis (Actual vs Budget/Forecast) and provide clear explanations of key drivers

1. Business Partnering

• Partner with underwriting, claims, and distribution teams to:
  • Evaluate business performance
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making
  • Challenge assumptions and promote cost discipline where appropriate

1. Data, Systems & Process Improvement

• Support FP&A tools and systems (e.g., Excel models, BI dashboards, planning tools)
• Improve reporting automation and streamline processes
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

OTHER INFORMATION

• 3-4 years of experience in FP&A, finance, or audit (insurance industry preferred)
• Familiarity with insurance concepts (e.g., GWP, claims, underwriting performance) will be advantageous
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Understanding of financial reporting and budgeting processes
• Proficiency in digital finance tools, automation and advanced analytics
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
