We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Travel Sales & Operations Executive to ensure seamless delivery of group travelprograms by supporting ticketing, hotel arrangements, logistics preparation and client coordination, while assisting with FIT booking requests and leading groups on-site when required to uphold service excellence and operational efficiency.
The position requires travel to conduct site visits, coordinate on-ground arrangements, and ensure quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with group flight ticket issuance, name lists, special meal requests and related operational matters.
- Coordinate hotel bookings, rooming lists, and payment processing with approved vendors.
- Liaise with clients on quotations, confirmations, required documents and payment follow-ups.
- Prepare itineraries, manifests, programme sheets and all necessary group travel documentation.
- Provide operational support to travel sales, ensuring accurate pricing inputs and smooth delivery of services.
- Assist customer service team on online FIT booking requests and fulfilment.
- Travel and serve as tour leader/journey host for local and overseas groups to ensure smooth execution.
- Support preparation of sales proposals and presentations when required.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and STB regulations indocumentation and processes.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in Tourism, Hospitality, Business or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in travel operations, ticketing, or customer service (fresh candidates with relevant internship experience may be considered).
- Able to travel overseas and work on evenings/weekends when required for tour-leading duties.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning booking systems.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in airline reservation systems, ticket issuance or travel operations workflows.
- Knowledge of group travel logistics, manifests, and vendor coordination.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with STB Travel Agent compliance and PDPA requirements a bonus.
