Key Roles and Responsibilities
Group Ethics & Compliance (GEC) Policies & Controls Implementation
- Assist to implement and maintain GEC related policies (including Anti-Bribery Corruption, Data Protection, AML/CFT). Support and collaborate with different functions or stakeholders for policy implementation.
- Manage the review of COI declarations submitted by employees or counterparties and follow-up measures.
Training
- Support delivery of compliance training and awareness programs for employees
- Liaise with cross function teams to record, track and report training completions.
Data Protection
- Assist the Group Data Protection Officer (DPO) in all day-to-day matters relating to the collection, handling and process of Personal Data including:
implementation of Privacy by Design tools
performance of data privacy assessments
managing data privacy impact lifecycle.
Data Analytics & Trend Analysis
- Coordinate and perform data analytics to monitor the effectiveness of the compliance program and identify any anomalies.
- Report findings (if any) and propose mitigation actions to address the risk.
Legal Tech & Digitalisation
- Assist with digitalisation initiatives of the Group Ethics & Compliance Team.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- A relevant bachelor's degree or professional qualification and certification relating to accounting or compliance (e.g. ACCA, CIA, CPA, CFE, and any other relevant compliance certification).
- Minimum of 3-5 Years demonstrable experience working in an audit, investigation, compliance or data privacy function.
- Commercial compliance experience would be highly advantageous (e.g., Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Data Privacy and Protection, Conflict of Interest, Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer (KYC).
- IAPP or other recognised privacy accreditations will be an added advantage.
Skills
- Risk and controls - skilled in risk assessments, data protection impact assessments, audit and compliance monitoring.
- Incident management - competence in managing investigations, notifications and remediation.
- Strong communication and collaboration - to advise management, train employees and work effectively cross functionally.
- Personal attributes - integrity, attention to detail, problem-solving ability and good organisational skills to meet timelines.
- IT skillset - Reasonably proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word to complete analytical work, present analytics trend visuals in a clear and concise manner and to amend policy drafts efficiently and effectively.
- Regulatory knowledge - Strong understanding of Anti-Bribery Corruption, Data Protection, AML/CFT laws, standards and associated compliance requirements is a plus.
