Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with Operations and Maintenance teams, as well as various engineering departments, to investigate and rectify defects. Analyze condition monitoring and defect data to pinpoint reliability concerns and develop improvement strategies. Draft technical work instructions for preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Identify and implement cost-effective technologies to enhance the performance of signaling, communication, and control systems. Support project reviews by assessing design specifications to ensure safety, reliability, maintainability, and operability. Provide engineering support for project activities, including execution and contractor oversight. Identify and report safety concerns within the workplace. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors, which may also include administrative functions, project support, and report preparation. Be prepared to work in various locations and adapt to rotating or fixed shifts as per guidelines.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Strong understanding of diagnostic and reliability engineering methodologies, including Weibull Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis. Proven experience in best practices related to maintenance science.
