This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute directly to the operational excellence and continuous improvement of the Electives Programme, a pivotal component of the MD curriculum that significantly enhances students clinical exposure both locally and internationally.

Are you someone who thrives on keeping complex moving parts in sync We are looking for a motivated and detail-driven individual to join our Curriculum team and play a key role in shaping the learning journey of NUSMed's Phase II medical students.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Phase II curriculum lead

  • Plan and facilitate Start-of-Academic Year briefings and Phase Committee meetings, including agenda-setting, slide preparation, and minute-taking
  • Oversee end-of-year theory and multi-station examinations — from logistics and question submissions to post-exam reviews — with zero tolerance for error

  • Coordinate CLC Committee meetings and collaborate with CenMED on faculty development and case-writing workshops
  • Ensure case guides and MCQs from case writers are submitted, approved, and ready ahead of each session
  • Cross-functional support
    • Support school-wide events including Admissions, Commencement/White Coat Ceremonies, Accreditation exercises, and MedACE sessions
This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced academic environment, values precision, and excels at stakeholder engagement. It offers a chance to be part of a team that is instrumental in shaping the educational experiences of future medical professionals.

Qualifications

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Demonstrated work experience of one year or more in an administrative or project coordination capacity, preferably within educational or healthcare settings.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly
  • Exhibit high levels of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information related to student records and institutional partnerships.
  • Strong self-direction and the ability to operate autonomously
  • Detail-oriented mindset with proven competence in managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to utilize data management and presentation tools effectively; familiarity with WordPress or similar content management systems is considered advantageous.
