About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and forwardthinking Academic Head to lead the academic direction, quality assurance, and program development of Trinity International College. This role is pivotal in ensuring high academic standards, regulatory compliance, and excellence in teaching and learning across all programs, including Cambridge IGCSE, A-Level, and Adult Learning Programs (Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Postgraduate).
The ideal candidate is a strategic academic leader with deep knowledge of international curricula and Singapore's regulatory landscape, particularly SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership and oversight for all programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and international standards.
- Lead curriculum planning, program review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee teaching quality, assessment standards, and academic policies.
- Manage faculty recruitment, development, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with SSG, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Drive accreditation, audit preparation, and quality assurance processes.
- Oversee student academic progression, examinations, and academic integrity.
- Collaborate with operations, compliance, and management teams on institutional development.
- Represent the institution in academic boards, external audits, and stakeholder engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related discipline.
- Strong academic foundation with demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and academic governance.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Indepth knowledge of Cambridge International programs (IGCSE to A Level).
- Experience with Adult Learning frameworks, including Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Postgraduate programs.
- Preferably with strong understanding of SSG requirements, including course accreditation, TPGateway submissions, and quality assurance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop academic staff.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and policywriting capabilities.
- Familiarity with audit processes, academic board governance, and regulatory reporting.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience as an Academic Head or Senior Lecturer in a private education institution.
Experience managing multiprogram portfolios and diverse learner groups.
Proven track record in curriculum innovation and academic quality assurance. accordingly to requirements
