Rooted in Christ-centered values and the spirit of Gotong Royong, we are building a Living Sanctuarythat nurtures residents, caregivers, staff, volunteers, and the wider community.

Role Overview: We are seeking a strategic and empathetic communicator to lead our messaging and partnership efforts. This role is pivotal in shaping public perception, deepening stakeholder engagement, and driving support for our evolving mission. You will craft emotionally resonant narratives, build meaningful collaborations, and ensure our communications reflect the heart of our work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Communications

  • Develop and implement integrated communication strategies that reflect the Home's Christ-centered values and support its transition to a Nursing Home.
  • Create and execute communication plans that deepen public understanding of our mission, work, and impact on Singapore's ageing population.
  • Craft emotionally resonant narratives-including appeal letters, donor stories, press releases, feedback/complaints, and annual reports-that inspire action and build trust across stakeholders.
  • Oversee content creation and editorial direction across EDMs, social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), newsletters, and other digital platforms.
  • Manage and update the Home's website and online channels with timely, engaging, and mission-aligned content.
  • Design and produce in-house marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, digital graphics, videos, and presentations to support fundraising and outreach efforts.
  • Ensure all messaging is inclusive, clear, and aligned with the lived experiences of residents, caregivers, staff, and volunteers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a consistent voice and tone across all touchpoints, reinforcing the Home's identity as a Living Sanctuary.
  • Track performance metrics and adapt strategies for greater impact.
  • Establish and manage a structured pipeline for communication initiatives and EDMs.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management.
  • Contribute to special projects and other tasks as needed to support the team and the Home's goals.

2. Partnership Development

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with community groups, donors, corporates, and government agencies to advance the Home's mission and visibility.
  • Represent the Home at external events and forums to build trust, deepen relationships, and share our vision of a Living Sanctuary.
  • Coordinate joint initiatives with external partners that amplify our message and extend our reach across sectors.
  • Provide logistical and promotional support for fundraising campaigns, donor engagement efforts, and community outreach activities.
  • Support volunteer management, including recruitment, onboarding, and organizing appreciation events that foster a culture of gratitude and belonging.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of resident-focused activities - such as festive celebrations, outings, and enrichment programmes - in close collaboration with the care team.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for external enquiries related to our communications and programmes, ensuring timely, thoughtful, and mission-aligned responses.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with residents, their families, volunteers, donors, companies, and other community stakeholders.

3.Internal Alignment & Messaging

  • Collaborate with leadership and departments to ensure consistent and inclusive messaging.
  • Support CEO's communications, including speeches (Chairman, CEO, Invited GOHs, etc), letters, and donor engagement materials.
  • Facilitate feedback loops to ensure communications reflect the lived experiences of residents and staff.

4.Administration and Other Duties

o Manage budgets for communication and partnership.
